Under the theme “Business Unusual: A Rapidly Changing World Calls for Adapting Peacebuilding in Africa”, 22 African organisations, along with US policymakers, practitioners and experts, are set to convene at the conference to assess the state of peace and security on the continent, as well as peacebuilding approaches to address current issues.
Dr Mziwandile Ndlovu, Research and Policy Analyst working on AFIDEP’s Africa Integrity Indicators project will be a speaker at the eighth session – “Assessing the State of Citizen-State of Relations and Peacebuilding in Africa” – on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.
Other speakers at the session are: Dr Edem Selormey, Director of Research and Knowledge Management, Center for Democratic Development
Dr Mathieu Cloutier, Economist, Governance Global Practice, World Bank
The session will be moderated by Dr Terence McNamee, Global Fellow, Wilson Center Africa Program.
