The African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP) in partnership with the Makerere University Lung Institute is hosting a training on evidence-informed decision-making (EIDM) in Uganda under the Leaving no-one behInd: transforming Gendered pathways to Health for TB (LIGHT) consortium. The five-day training (29 August 2022 – 2 September 2022) seeks to enhance the capacity of mid-to-senior level policymakers in accessing, appraising, synthesising and applying research evidence. 

The training will convene mid-to-senior-level TB programme researchers from Uganda’s National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Programme and other TB stakeholders.
