The media plays a critical role in the transformation of societies and their sustainable development. Whether in developed economies or in the developing nations, the role of the media in shaping public debate and influencing decisions is evident thus making it integral in matters of governance. On 14-15 March 2022, AFIDEP and the Kenya Environmental and Science Journalists Association (KENSJA<\/a>) will hold a training on effective climate change and health reporting in Naivasha, Kenya.<\/p>\n

The workshop brings together journalists from different media houses from Nairobi, Makueni, Kitui and Machakos counties to build their capacity on effective coverage of Climate Change and Health.
