Themed, <em>\u2018COVID-19<\/em><em> and Beyond: Accelerating use of evidence to maximize on opportunities to improve health and livelihood of AY in Kenya,<\/em>\u2019 the symposium will be held virtually between 2.00 \u2013 6.00pm (EAT) on both days.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/afidep.org\/fr\/staff\/eliya-m-zulu-ph-d\/\">Dr. Eliya Zulu<\/a>, Executive Director at AFIDEP will deliver a keynote presentation on the <em>\u2018value of evidence for decision making\u2019<\/em>. \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/afidep.org\/fr\/?post_type=staff&#038;p=9730\">Dr. Bernard Onyango<\/a>, Senior Research and Policy Analyst will facilitate a session on the legal and policy environment for Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) in Kenya \u2013 challenges, opportunities and implications.<\/p>\n<p>Results of a research study by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pmadata.org\/\"><strong>Performance Monitoring for Action (PMA)<\/strong><\/a> <em>will be discussed <\/em><em>during the symposium. <\/em>PMA Kenya, <em>who are the lead conveners of the event, <\/em><em>have <\/em>implemented the ), to measure awareness, use and acquisition of contraceptive methods among both male and female adolescents and youth.
