This session will further explore the value of water to populations, environment, and development and integrated approaches to water resource management for sustainable development while also exploring gender perspectives for water management.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Specifically, the session seeks to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Foster dialogue on the PED nexus and the priority areas to ensure sustainable management of water resources in the face of competing demands and climate change.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate how integrated and coordinated water resource development and management at national and regional levels can contribute to sustainable socio-economic development and promote peace and stability in<\/li>\n<li>Address both direct and indirect impacts of population dynamics and development on water and livelihoods.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Audience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The session targets researchers, policymakers, program implementers, and decision-makers in government and development circles.
