The project, which has been spearheaded by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globalintegrity.org\/\">Global Integrity<\/a> for 10 years\u2014with 10 rounds of data produced as of 2022\u2014collects and publishes data on specific governance indicators annually towards improved governance in Africa.<\/p>\n<p>As Global Integrity hands over the project to AFIDEP, having jointly conducted the 10<sup>th<\/sup> round of data collection, the preliminary results have been published <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africaintegrityindicators.org\/data\">here<\/a> and the final data will be published in July 2022. Any feedback on the data can be shared <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdYOfFM-TtO0N365jEWxRJSKPNZQd8mtfw5fqrQQti4JNNi2Q\/viewform?usp=send_form\">here.<\/a>\u00a0 AFIDEP will officially produce the 11<sup>th<\/sup> round of data with support from Global Integrity in 2023 and is eager to use the data to champion good governance on the continent.<\/p>\n<p>For some key insights into the round 10 findings, a succinct blog by Global Integrity is available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globalintegrity.org\/2022\/04\/12\/africa-integrity-indicators-gis-last-round-of-data-and-passing-the-torch\/\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Falling under AFIDEP\u2019s <em>Governance and Accountability<\/em> focus area, the AII project will contribute to improved governance on the African continent, which is a prerequisite for effective, equitable and sustainable development.
