Prof. William Otiende Ogara is a seasoned finance professional, organisational development expert, and board leader with over 25 years of experience across finance, governance, civil society, and leadership development in Africa and internationally.<\/p>\n
He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at one of the Central Banks in Africa, where he chairs the Non-Executive Board Members Committee and sits on the Audit & Risk and Human Resources Committees. He previously served on the Board of the Central Bank of Kenya, where he was Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee.<\/p>\n
A Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), Prof. Ogara has made a tremendous impact in the profession and also across financial institutions, universities, and investment entities. He is also the Chair of the Board of Fin Church Aid (Kenya).<\/p>\n
Prof. Ogara holds a Ph.D. in Organisational Change and Renewal, an MBA in Strategic Management, and a Bachelor of Commerce. He is widely published on governance, financial accountability, leadership, and institutional transformation, and remains passionate about ethical leadership, mentoring, and succession development.<\/p>\n
