Godfrey Pumbwa serves as a Communications Officer at AFIDEP in the Malawi Office.

Godfrey is a seasoned communication officer with over seven years of work experience in internal and external communications, journalism, media relations, corporate communications, branding, and content writing for newspapers, the web, and social media.

Before joining AFIDEP, Godfrey served as a Communication Specialist at the African Institute of Corporate Citizenship (AICC). He has also worked with reputable organisations such as United Purpose and Lilongwe City Council.

He holds a Master of Arts in Development Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, both from the University of Malawi. He is currently pursuing another Master’s Degree in Development Communication at the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences.

In his leisure time, he loves spending time with his family, reading books on personal development, swimming, and learning new things.
