John joins AFIDEP, as a Finance and Administration Manager. He is the lead person for the financial management and administration department in the Malawi Office.

He is a seasoned finance professional with vast experience in large scale grants management and finance operations. His experience dates back to 2004 when he started his career at Deloitte Public Accountants as an auditor, and later moved to Plan International in 2008 where he worked as the Country Finance Manager. After 10 years at Plan International, he moved on to work as the Head of Finance at Christian Aid. He has managed several grants from institutions such as USAID, DFID and Global fund among others.

John is a graduate of Oxford brooks university (UK) and ACCA. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute – ESAMI
