Nhlanhla Dhaka serves at AFIDEP as a Communications Assistant in the Malawi Office.

Nhlanhla is a dynamic professional specializing in digital media with a passion and track record of leveraging communications to drive transformative change in Africa. With a degree in Business Information Technology from the Malawi University of Science and Technology, Nhlanhla has honed skills at the intersection of digital media, multimedia, corporate communications, and development communications.

Before joining AFIDEP, Nhlanhla worked with reputable organizations such as the Malawi University of Science and Technology, UNDP and the Ministry of Information. He is also the visionary behind Podfest Malawi—the largest podcast festival in Southern Africa. His involvement in key national initiatives, including the development of Malawi’s Covid-19 App, underscores his commitment to using digital media and tech to address pressing challenges and drive growth.
