Our People

Ruckia Ibrahim-Nyirenda works at AFIDEP as a Communications Assistant. She brings along extensive experience in project management, administration, content development, event coordination, and communications. She is based at the Malawi Office.

Before joining AFIDEP, Ruckia worked with Emerald Medical Centre as the Administration Manager; and Administration and Public Relations Assistant at the Ministry of Agriculture, Malawi. Additionally, she has held positions at the Department of Disaster Management Affairs and the Malawi National Council of Sports.

Ruckia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from the University of Malawi and is pursuing her Masters in Public Administration and Management at the same institution.

She enjoys reading articles, dabbling in creative writing, watching movies, and learning new things in her free time.
