Chimwemwe joins AFIDEP as a Research & Policy Associate under the Global Health Corps Fellowship.

As a research professional, he comes in with experience in the research field and he will provide support in coordinating the Implementation of Research and/or policy projects, including secondary data analysis, scenario modelling, policy and program analysis and audits, and rapid reviews and synthesis of evidence.

Before joining AFIDEP, Chimwemwe worked as a Lead Project Officer for PULA Advisors Consultancy with Monsanto Seed Germination Assistance project also known as crop Insurance project, in partnership with Monsanto Seed Malawi, University of California and Micro-ensure. Prior to this he was engaged as a Leaf Sales Intern with Alliance One Tobacco Malawi and also as Project Intern for Farm Voice Radio Trust, Lilongwe, Malawi.

Chimwemwe holds a Master of Management in Forest Economics and Management and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. He is looking forward to grow in his career path as he joins the AFIDEP family.
