We are thrilled to announce the presence of AFIDEP’s Executive Director, Dr Eliya Zulu, at the upcoming Global Congress on Population, Health, and Development (PHDC’23) from 5 to 8 September.  Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population organised the Congress under the patronage and presence of H.E. Mr. Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of Egypt.

The world is witnessing many demographic, social and economic shifts that impact health and pose significant challenges to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and ensuring health and well-being for all. With a projected global population increase to 9.7 billion by 2050 and more than half of this increase from eight countries, including Egypt, the world is facing a challenge that requires high-level global collaboration and integration of actions.
