The United Nations will announce the 2023 UN Population recipients this evening.

Tonight join AFIDEP, the UN Population Award Committee and UN member states’ representatives at the 2023 UN Population Award ceremony, live from the ECOSOC Chamber, Conference Building, United Nations Headquarters at 3 PM EST/ 9 PM CEST.

Each year, the Committee for the United Nations Population Award honours individuals and institutions to recognise their #outstanding contributions to #population and reproductive health.

The Committee for the United Nations Population Award comprises 10 UN Member States, with United Nations Secretary-General and UNFPA Executive Director serving as ex-officio members.

The General Assembly established the Award in 1981. The award was first presented in 1983.
