AFIDEP and Globesolute are organizing a three-day workshop at Lake Naivasha Resort, Naivasha, to support the Ministry of Health (MoH) in strengthening Kenya’s surveillance and response systems. The workshop will focus on disseminating the findings of the IDSR evaluation and the 7-1-7 baseline assessment while guiding county governments in developing costed action plans to enhance outbreak detection, notification, and response.

The workshop will bring together government officials, county health leaders, development partners, and other key stakeholders to improve coordination, resource mobilization, and governance frameworks for surveillance preparedness and response. Counties will engage in discussions and planning sessions to customize strategies that address specific surveillance challenges at both national and county levels.
