AFIDEP and the Malawi Liverpool Wellcome (MLW) Research Programme, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health through the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Elimination Program (NTLEP), is holding an engagement meeting with the newly constituted Parliamentary Committee on Health. The purpose of this meeting is to formally introduce the Leaving no-one behind: Transforming Gendered pathways to Health for TB (LIGHT) Consortium, as well as AFIDEP’s broader Health and Wellbeing work.
This strategic interaction seeks to strengthen relationships with the Committee and highlight AFIDEP’s role as a trusted evidence partner in health policy and programming. By showcasing ongoing work, emerging insights, and opportunities for collaboration.
Through this engagement, AFIDEP and its partners hope to reinforce the importance of evidence-informed decision-making and pave the way for deeper parliamentary support in addressing priority health challenges, including tuberculosis and leprosy, in Malawi.
