AFIDEP’s Executive Director, Dr. Eliya Zulu, will be taking part in a workshop being held between 29 – 31 January entitled Nursing Education in Uganda: Governing a Shared Vision.

The workshop – jointly organised by the Uganda National Academy of Sciences (UNAS) and the University of Michigan – brings together stakeholders, such as nurse practitioners, educators, administrators, government officials, academics, and other healthcare professionals, to build a common understanding of the current state of nursing education in Uganda. The forum is also meant to facilitate an informed debate about what can be done both now, and in the future, to support the ongoing growth and improvement of nursing education in Uganda.
