The LIGHT Consortium is participating at the Malawi National Public Health Research Dissemination Conference at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe, Malawi, on 29-31 October 2025.

Under the theme “Advancing Public Health Research for Building Resilient and Sustainable Systems,” the conference highlights Malawi’s commitment to using science, technology, and evidence to strengthen health systems and achieve universal health coverage (UHC).

LIGHT partners in Malawi African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP) and Malawi Liverpool Wellcome Research Programme will host a session on ‘No Man Left Behind: Gendered Pathways to TB response’ which AFIDEP’s Executive Director Dr Eliya Zulu and MLW’s Dr Augustine Choko will be panelists.

GRACIOUS ALI, AFIDEP’s Research and Policy Associate will moderate a session on Social and Behavioral Science Research in Public Health
