On 20 November 2019, the African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP) joined the Malawi Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP), key stakeholder institutions and organisations working in the private sector to commemorate Antibiotic Awareness Week in Lilongwe, Malawi. The aim of the walk was to bring awareness to the dangers of the misuse and overuse of antibiotics to the general public. The theme was ‘the future of antibiotic depends on us all’.
