Benjamin Azariah Mosiwa serves at AFIDEP as a Research and Policy Associate in the Malawi office. He will support the LIGHT Consortium project and other health related projects.
Benjamin is passionate about strengthening health systems in low- and middle-income countries. He has over eight years of work experience developing, implementing, and evaluating health projects. Before his role at AFIDEP, he served as a Research Fellow at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences. He has also worked with Facilitators of Community Transformation (FACT) as a Director of Programmes and Strategy and Senior Programme Associate respectively.
He holds a Masters of Global Health Policy from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Malawi.
In his free time, he likes to play with his son, read personal development books, engage in debates on several issues, and converse with young people on various life topics.
