Our People

Charles Fwataki serves AFIDEP as a Resource Mobilisation Officer based in the Malawi Office.

He brings over eight years of professional work experience in business development, fundraising, proposal development, public relations, development of communication materials, organisation of events, social media content creation, and project monitoring and evaluation.

In his recent engagements, he was the Social and Behaviour Change Communications and Advocacy Officer at Momentum-Tiyeni project (Palladium Malawi), and served as a Project and Resource Mobilisation Coordinator at World Relief Malawi. Before that, he also worked as a Communications and Resource Mobilisation Coordinator at Population Services International (PSI).

Charles holds a Master of Arts degree in Health and Behaviour Change Communication from Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from the University of Malawi.

In his free time, he enjoys travelling and exploring news places with family.
