Moureen Chepchumba joins AFIDEP as Project Administrative Officer, based in the Nairobi Office.
She holds a Master of Science in Development Studies from the University of Nairobi (2023) and a Bachelor of Science in Community Development from Egerton University (2019). Moureen brings nearly five years of progressive experience in project coordination, administration, and stakeholder engagement across diverse development sectors. She has contributed to high-impact initiatives, including USAID-supported OVC service delivery programmes and farmer training interventions aimed at enhancing community livelihoods.
Prior to joining AFIDEP, Moureen served as Project Coordinator for the Coastal Region at Policy and Markets Options (PMO), where she led the implementation of agricultural development programmes in partnership with Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA). In this role, she strengthened field coordination and partnerships while advancing evidence-based, gender-responsive, and community-centered development.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, and experimenting with new dishes.
