Sandra Yvonne Oketch joins AFIDEP as a Research and Policy Associate, to provide technical and project coordination support to the GAVI and HealthTech projects
Sandra brings in over 12 years of experience in research, advocacy, project monitoring and evaluation, managing maternal and child health programs, preventive and promotive health programs, and stakeholder collaboration and networking.
Prior to joining AFIDEP, Sandra worked as a Research Coordinator at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI), doubling as the Kisumu Site Coordinator for the Duke Center for Global Reproductive Health. She has benefitted from our collaborative work with KEMRI, and is very excited to join AFIDEP.
Sandra holds a Masters of Public Health with a specialisation in Health Promotion and International Health, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with Information Technology, both from Maseno University, Kenya.
In her free time, Sandra enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies and in meditation.
