Malawi President H.E. Arthur Mutharika will be hosting a meeting of several African Heads of State at a side event of the UN General Assembly meeting on the Sustainable Development Goals. He seeks to mobilise other African leaders to be demographic dividend (DD) champions and catalysts in their countries.

Some of the key delegates at the meeting include:- H.E. Robert G. Mugabe, Chairperson of the African Union and President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, H.E. President Yoweri Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda, Mrs. Nkozasana Dlamini-Zuma, Chairperson of the African Union Commission and Prof. Babatunde Osotimehin, Executive Director of UNFPA.
