National Public Health Emergency Fund (NPHEF) Statutory Instrument (SI) Workshop

Theme: Strengthening Public Health Emergency Preparedness through Sustainable Financing and Governance

Description: The Zambia National Public Health Institute (ZNPHI), in collaboration with the African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP) and key government ministries, is organizing a two-day workshop to refine the governance, financing, and legal framework of the National Public Health Emergency Fund (NPHEF). The event will focus on reviewing Zambia’s public health emergency financing gaps, developing a transparent and accountable statutory instrument, and ensuring alignment with national policies.

The workshop will bring together policymakers, legal and financial experts, public health officials, and development partners to discuss sustainable financing mechanisms, governance structures, and accountability frameworks for the NPHEF.
