Events

The meeting will bring together the International Advisory Committee (IAC) and the Malawi Parliament Enhancement Project (MPEP) initiative team for deliberations on the MPEP project.

The MPEP project aims to improve the effectiveness and impact of parliament in steering democratic and accountable governance as well as socio-economic development in Malawi. The IAC is a board of experts in registration that give strategic guidance to the MPEP project and in achieving its autonomy agenda. The board consists of a registrative lawyer, parliament autonomy champions from Uganda and Kenya, a governance expert from Ghana, a former chief justice from Malawi, a former clerk of parliament of Malawi and a former vice president of Malawi.
