The Heightening Institutional Capacity for Government Use of Health Research (HIGH-Res) project brings together various partners under the HIGH-Res East Africa Consortium to design, implement and evaluate innovative and politically responsive interventions to strengthen institutional capacity for use of health research in policy-making in Kenya, Malawi and Uganda.
Between 26-28 January 2021, the HIGH-Res partners will be conducting the project’s annual review and planning meeting. The virtual meeting will discuss progress and lessons from year one, and plan for year two activities. The meeting will set the pace for the implementation of the project in year two, with lessons from year one informing the design of year two country implementation plans.
The project implementation for HiGH-Res for year two is focused on building on the progress realised in year one, and tackling the challenges experienced in order to progress towards the project’s intermediate outcomes.
