Gift Muhota joins AFIDEP as a Finance Assistant based in the Malawi Office. He brings accounting experience to support the processes of planning, organising, controlling, monitoring and reporting of AFIDEP’s financial resources.

Prior to AFIDEP, Gift worked as a Temporary Finance Officer at Integrated Water and Energy Technologies (IWE) where he supported in financial policy formulation and budgeting processes in the project, providing sustainable water supply and energy technologies to marginalised populaces in Malawi. He also worked as an accounts assistant at Baobab Health Trust which uses ICT innovations to improve health data management in Malawi.

Gift holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy obtained from Exploits University. In his free time, he enjoys reading content on current affairs.
