Our People
Levi has experience in WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene), agriculture, livelihoods, health, education, emergency, and recovery.
At AFIDEP, Levi’s work involves translating research knowledge and developing strategies for policy engagements for the health focus programmes including the Drivers of Resistance in Uganda and Malawi (DRUM) consortium and the African Research Collaboration on Sepsis (ARCS).
Prior to joining AFIDEP, he worked as a Programmes Manager at CADECOM Blantyre where he coordinated a cross-section of projects. Before that, he was the Deputy Programmes Manager (WASH Specialist) at InterAide Hydro. He has also worked as a Research Assistant for the Upgro Research Consortium and was a Headteacher at CHISAPI Schools and Zipatso Academy.
Levi has a Master of Science in Integrated Water Resources Modelling and Governance, a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College, and a Diploma in Education from Domasi College of Education.
Levi’s career interests are in policy, research and advocacy.
