Venancious joins AFIDEP as a Senior Communications Officer, based in Accra, Ghana.
He brings 15 years’ experience in communications and policy engagement, working across Sub-Saharan Africa. He has worked with organisations in various fields across Africa, notably with governments/policymakers, Civil Service Organisations, media organisations and journalists, academic and research institutions, NGOs, community-based organisations, women organisations and private sector actors. He previously worked as Bilingual Communications Consultant for AFIDEP from 2021 to May 2024.
Venancious holds a Master of Arts in Communications Studies from the University of Ghana, a Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana, and a French Language Proficiency certification from the Université Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD) in Dakar, Senegal.
Venancious spends his spare time reading and discussing contemporary issues. He also enjoys travelling and keeping memories of exciting events and places to upgrade his knowledge.
