AFIDEP will participate at the Kenya National Research Festival 2024, taking place from 19-23 August 2024 in Nairobi. Spearheaded by the National Research Fund (NRF), this event is a key platform for advancing research and innovation in Kenya.  

On Thursday, 22 August 2024 at 2–3 pm EAT, AFIDEP’s Dr Oronje, Director of Public Policy and Knowledge Translation, and Head of Kenya Office, will be a panelist in a session focused on Research utilisation and uptake. She will lend her expertise to discussions on overcoming barriers to research uptake, identifying best practices, and exploring innovative approaches to enhance the use of research findings in policy and practice.  

The session aims to generate actionable recommendations for improving the uptake of research findings, ensuring that research contributes effectively to national development goals.
