Evidence Brief

This evidence brief synthesises what works in advancing adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health and rights across Africa. Drawing from programme evaluations, systematic and scoping reviews, and organisational documents, it highlights practical approaches for strengthening AYSRHR outcomes, including institutionalising programmes within government systems, engaging adolescents in programme design, addressing harmful social and gender norms, using innovation to expand access, and strengthening data systems. The brief provides actionable guidance for policymakers, programme managers, and partners working to improve SRHR outcomes for adolescents and young people across the continent.
