Our People

Lianne is a Research Assistant Intern at AFIDEP, where she supports research on evidence-informed policymaking, qualitative data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge translation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the United States International University–Africa (USIU-Africa).

Prior to joining AFIDEP, Lianne worked as an Operations and Data Analyst at Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH), where she contributed to health systems monitoring, data analysis, performance reporting, and the use of evidence to strengthen decision-making within the health sector.

Her research interests span evidence-informed policymaking, health policy and systems research, implementation science, monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), and knowledge translation. She is particularly passionate about strengthening the generation, translation, and application of evidence to support effective policymaking and sustainable development in low- and middle-income countries.

Beyond her professional role, Lianne is a co-founder of Bloom Foundation, a community-based initiative that advances menstrual health through advocacy, education, and improved access to menstrual hygiene resources for girls and young women. She is committed to promoting health equity and empowering communities through evidence-based approaches that drive meaningful and lasting change.
